The response to that first query iteration contains, along with the response data, an IteratorID value that uniquely identifies that iterator. This is important because you can have many iterators active at the same time. Accordingly, in subsequent iterations of that query, you need to supply that returned iteratorID so the SDK knows where to resume the iteration.

It is required if you use the Iterator attribute to iterate through large or potentially large query returns.
