You can use the QuickBooks SDK to integrate with just about every member of the QuickBooks Financial Software products family, for the U.S. (2002*—2023), Canada (2003*—2023), and the UK (2003*—2022), except for QuickBooks for the Mac. You can use the 64-bit SDK to integrate with QuickBooks Desktop 2022 and above.

QuickBooks Point of Sale (QBPOS) is an easy-to-use retail software that replaces a cash register and allows retail businesses to track inventory, sales, and customers. Please note that the 64-bit SDK is not supported for QBPOS.

The SDK works with U.K. editions of: 2003*—2022
* QuickBooks 2002 - 2017 are no longer supported by Intuit; however, applications written to integrate with these products should continue to work.
For the UK QB2008 editions (SimpleStart, Pro and Premier only), this will work with SDK 6.0.
For the UK QB2010 editions (SimpleStart, Pro, Premier and Premier+), this will need SDK 8.0.
