1. Become an Intuit developer

Legacy API. Use the QBMS Payments API to work with Hosted PayPage, or if you need to implement recurring billing soon.
For eCommerce and other payment integrations, use our widely adopted Payments API.

The first step in getting started with your application is to join the Intuit Developer program.  Doing so is fast and easy. You just create credentials and accept the terms of service. That's it. Once you create an account, you can immediately begin developing your app.

Already have an Intuit Account?

You can sign in to Intuit's developer site using your existing Intuit account.

Sign up to become an Intuit developer

  1. Navigate to http://developer.intuit.com.
  2. In the menu at the top of any page, click Sign in.
  3. Click Create an account.
  4. Complete the form and click Sign up.  (You can click the terms of service link to review the Intuit Terms of Service).

You are now an Intuit developer and can get started developing your payments app. Instead of using this Legacy QBMS Payments API, you may want to build off our Payments API. To create a QBMS app, go to the menu at the top of the page and click My apps. Click the Create new app button and on the screen that follows click Select APIs. Scroll down and click the Create a QBMS payments app link.
