Developer Sessions at QuickBooks Connect Toronto

We’re heading back to Toronto in just a few days for QuickBooks Connect and we can’t wait to see all of our developer partners up North. We’ve lined up some awesome developer sessions on both Monday and Tuesday.  Check them out:

MONDAY: December 3rd

Developer Kickoff

  • 9:00-10:00am Intuit Developer Kickoff: Starting at 9:00am on Monday December 3rd, you’re invited to attend the Developer Kickoff and learn about our vision, roadmap and strategy for the Intuit ecosystem. the Intuit ecosystem.  At the Developer Kickoff, expect to, learn about our roadmap, updates on our product and vision for the future, See product demos from our engineering and evangelism teams and Network with other developers and peers, and the Intuit leadership team.

TUESDAY: December 4th

Developer Keynote

  • 11-12pm Intuit Developer Keynote: Featuring Fireside Chat with Kyle Jenke Alex Barnett, leader of the Intuit Developer Group, will talk about our latest line up of developer tools and resources, those newly released and on the roadmap. He’ll also be joined by Kyle Jenke, Head of Global Platforms and Partners at TSheets, in conversation to explore the successful TSheets journey.  Join us at this session Tuesday morning at 11am, right after the morning’s main stage event.

Technical Session

  • 1:15-2:15pm: Building Innovative Apps with the QuickBooks API:  If you’re a developer, you don’t want to miss this session at 2:50pm on Tuesday. This session is a packed with practical tips about using our V3 APIs as well as a primer on GraphQL, which you’ll need to use our V4 APIs. It also includes practical demos of innovations in conversational UI and artificial intelligence. This invaluable session will be led by Intuit engineers Diana De Rose and Aaron Gourley, with special guest appearances by Reg Ouellette from chata.ai.

Marketing Session

  • 2:30-3:30pm: Connecting Your App to the Right Customers The interactive workshop will share insights into how small business owners search for apps in the context of jobs that they want to get done. We’ll arm you with insights about how customers navigate the marketplace to find the ‘right for me’ apps. But that’s not all – we’ll also demystify the marketing funnel and equip you with an arsenal of tips and tricks to bolster your customer acquisition strategy without a big marketing budget. This session will be led by Karen Hartsell from the Intuit Developer team and Matt Kanas from the Intuit Canada team.
